Diamond Plastics manufactures 1.5” through 12” iron pipe size O.D. PVC pressure pipe in accordance with ASTM D2241 Standard Specification for Poly (Vinyl Chloride) (PVC) Pressure-Rated Pipe (SDR Series).
This standard contains manufacturing and quality control requirements for small diameter IPS PVC pressure pipes with pressure ratings from 63 psi to 315 psi. This standard was originally published in 1964 and these products have become the standard for rural water systems over the past 40 plus years.
These products have demonstrated a history of superior performance due to being corrosion free, bottle tight joints, strength and flexibility. These products are suitable for many pressure applications for which bottle tight joints and corrosion resistance are desirable.
