Diamond Plastics manufactures 6” through 15” PIP SDR 51, 80 psi; SDR 41, 100 psi; SDR 32.5, 125 psi; and SDR 26, 160 psi PVC plastic irrigation pipe (PIP) in accordance with ASTM 2241 Standard Specification for Poly (Vinyl Chloride) (PVC) Pressure-Rated Pipe (SDR Series) Annex.
This standard contains manufacturing and quality control requirements for PVC irrigation pipe. This standard was originally published in 1964 and these products have since come to dominate the underground irrigation pipe market.
Corrosion free materials, superior hydraulics, bottle tight joints, strength and flexibility have resulted in superior performance which is widely recognized.
These products are suitable for most gravity applications where bottle tight joints and corrosion resistance are desirable.
